Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links is out on Steam tomorrow. The popular mobile game will be available on PC from November 17.
Check out some of the best card games on PC.
If you’re familiar with either the manga, anime, or even the card game itself, Duel Links should be more or less exactly what you expect. Playing as Yugi, Kaiba, or several other famous characters, players battle each other across a virtual board.
If you’re not familiar with Yu-Gi-Oh in any of its myriad forms, the premise is reasonably simple. It’s a CCG in which players battle each other with a series of monsters, traps, and spells. If a monster destroys an opposing monster, the loser is banished to the Graveyard, and its owner loses life points equal to the difference in each monster’s attack stats. If your life points hit zero, you lose, and you probably get banished to the Shadow Zone or something.
Duel Links launched on mobile in January, and has been downloaded more than 55 million times. Mobile players transferring to PC will be able to retain their progress, and cross-play between the two platforms will be available.
