New Minecraft server searching tool makes life much easier

Comment

Here's me, running my own "Spot the skeleton" server.

Well, when I say "life" I mean Minecraft, but the two are largely indistinguishable for me now. This weekend, the Minecraft Forums launched a new server browsing tool which offers players many more browsing options. Finding Minecraft servers has always been a little bit of a convoluted experience and a lot of players will stick with places that they already know, but now it's much simpler to filter and find the sort of places you're looking for.

The new browser is here and presents lots of search options, allowing you to search and to sort by criteria like server type, server location, available slots and player limit. If you use the Curse client, you can instantly jump into a game via the browser, but otherwise all you need do is copy and paste the IP into Minecraft.

Thanks to Sacheverell, on the Minecraft Forums, for this news.
