Multiplay’s announced it will be using Jagex’s streaming suite to raise money for Special Effect’s Gameblast15. Multiplay hope to raise more than £100,000 to go towards developing tehnology to help disabled gamers play the games they love.
Special Effect’s GameBlast events are a call to arms for streamers, they ask that streamers devote a weekend to campaigning for donations to the charity. Multiplay took part in last year’s GameBlast14 and helped raise £70,000. This year they want to smash that by another £30,000.
From February 20-22 Multiplay will be running a constant stream from Runescape developer Jagex’s streaming suite. They’ll be streaming multiplayer matches, interviews, and challenge events throughout the event.
