Orcs Must Die! Unchained is the sort-of-sequel which twists Robot Entertainment’s close-up wave assault game into PvP. It’s third-person shooter; it’s tower defence; it’s a little bit MOBA; and it’s yours to play in closed beta if you’re lucky enough to land one of our keys.
Unchained will be free-to-play at launch later this year, but access is currently limited to closed beta players.
If you’d be good enough to give the PCGamesN Facebook page a Like using the widget below, you’ll be in the running for a code. We ask for an email address – but that’s simply so that we have a place to send a key, rather than the beginning of a barrage of NSFW VR images.
Winners will be picked at random. If a key turns up in your inbox, you’ll want to register an account on the Orcs Must Die beta site, scroll down to ‘Redeem key’ on the front page, and enter all 16 numbers into the appropriate box. Then you can start the 3.5 GB download that constitutes the entire game right now.
In its latest phase of beta, Orcs Must Die! Unchained has grown a Dota-like levelling system, slowed its tempo ever so slightly, and rejigged its environments to allow for more tactical preparation.
