Layoffs hit Bioware Austin: senior producer Rich Vogel departs

Further layoffs have hit Bioware Austin, the developer of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Amidst the layoffs, it’s been confirmed that Rich Vogel, one of the game’s most senior team members, has left Bioware Austin.

 Vogel was instrumental in building the game; passionate and effusive. His GDC talk that revealed the scale of development on Star Wars: The Old Republic was near terrifying/incredible.
