The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is available via Newegg with a 15% discount, making the fastest gaming processor on the market much more affordable.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU against a red carpet background

Despite its relative infancy, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D has already cemented itself as a processor for the PC hardware history books through its class-leading performance in games. So, if you’re yet to jump on the 3D V-Cache train, this gaming CPU deal could be the ticket you’ve been waiting for.

Ever since we got our hands on the AMD processor, it’s sat firmly at the top of our best gaming CPU list. Reading our Ryzen 7 7800X3D review and flicking through its performance charts, it’s easy to understand why. It’s practically the chip to get if you have the cash and system that can support it.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D offers fantastic value at its usual $449 list price, but is all the more an excellent buy right now at Newegg, where you’ll find the CPU available for just $389. That’s a $60 saving, which can be put towards a cooler for the chip or another addition to your system.

The large 96MB pool of L3 cache is what gives the Ryzen 7 7800X3D such an edge over other processors, including the monstrous Core i9 14900K. However, while it frequently beats the Intel flagship in most games, there are some that are more reliant on clock speeds and core counts, where the AMD CPU falls short.

In most cases, though, the eight cores and 16 threads at the disposal of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D are more than enough for modern titles. It makes an awesome pairing for a high-end graphics card too, mitigating most CPU bottlenecks you’re likely to encounter for your frame rates.

I personally use a Ryzen 7 7800X3D in my own PC, and the CPU also features in most component reviews you’ll read on PCGamesN. We simply can’t recommend it enough, if you have a graphics card that can keep up with it.

This deal is only active for another 13 hours at the time of writing, though, so you’ll need to act fast if you want to nab yourself your very own Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
