The first episode of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Atlantis DLC is free this week

Free as in beer

If you’ve been curious about where the story of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey goes after the conclusion of the plot but haven’t bought into the DLC, Ubisoft’s got a promotion running this week which might entice you. The first episode of Odyssey’s Atlantis DLC arc is free for a limited time, and the whole season pass is on a steep discount as part of the promotion.

Fields of Elysium, the first episode of The Fate of Atlantis, is now free to claim on your platform of choice – including both Steam and Uplay on PC – until September 1. The episode will stick with your library, so you can play it in perpetuity as long as you own a copy of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey base game.

The full season pass is available at a 50% discount for the duration of the promotion, bringing the price down to $19.99 / £16.99 / €19.99. That includes three episodes of Legacy of the First Blade, the three episodes of The Fate of Atlantis, an additional bonus mission, and copies of both Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Remastered.

Response to AC Odyssey’s story DLC has broadly been pretty positive, so this is a solid chance to get a whole lot more of an already massive game at a solid discount.

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Discovery Tour is still set to launch later this year, and it’ll bring a historically-minded tour of ancient Greece to all Odyssey players for free.
