Assassin’s Creed: Victory is actually Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, will be revealed this Tuesday

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

Heaven’s above, someone’s aquired marketing ‘materials’ from Ubisoft and passed them on to members of the press, like hooded assassin’s sharing details of the next Templar missions. These materials reveal some interesting tidbits on the next Assassin’s Creed game. Yeah, that London one we all thought was called Victory. Turns out that was just a codename, and the name of our next stab-a-thon is Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.

The materials, seen by Polygon, state that main protagonist is a chappie called Jacob Frye, a British assassin who will be identified by the one shilling coin he wears around his neck. Sounds like a design gimmick so Ubsioft can package a replica as part of a pre-order bonus.

Pre-orders from GameStop will receive a shilling necklace. Well, there you go.

The marketing materials say Syndicate will “transport millions of gamers to an astonishing recreation of London during the Industrial Revolution where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they’ll have to see to believe.”

Ubisoft will officially reveal Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate on Tuesday May 12th, in a livestream at 5pm UK time.

We’re just days away from finidng out what Syndicate is all about, then. How close will it be to our wish list?
