- James Artaius is a seasoned tech journalist whose been gaming for 29 years, the first game he played being The Hobbit on the 8-bit MSX home computer. He’s been writing about games since 2005 for magazines including games™ and Official Xbox Magazine and briefly worked for Ubisoft on a game that shall not be mentioned. A fan of exotic consoles in particular, he got his Neo Geo AES on launch in 1990 and the sought-after Panasonic Q in 2001. These days he plays on an Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PS5, but spends most of his time complaining about how NBA 2K used to be better when Michael Jordan was on the cover.
