If you’re anything like us then you spent the Saturday mornings of your youth watching hyperactive cartoons and wishing you could be inside them. The wonderful thing about games is that they make that possible. Take Auto Age: Standoff for example – it’s a car combat game with a cartoon aesthetic and thrives on the kind of sassy rivalry you’d expect from a kids show.
We already gave away Steam keys for Auto Age: Standoff when it launched back in September. But we now have more to throw at you, all in order to celebrate the game’s big update, which arrives this Friday, December 22.
The game’s v1.3 update adds six new vehicles, two additional factions, a new deathmatch map called Aerie, a horde mode, an elimination mode, as well as damage multipliers, improved AI, and more.
That’s a proper upgrade. And Auto Age still has its 12-person online combat and local four-player split-screen for you to jump into, so you should always find people to play with – by which we mean, shoot the hell out of their vehicle and watch it blow up in a huge orange fireball.
