With the launch of Batman: Arkham Knight only two months away, it’s time to find out if your rig can handle the Caped Crusader’s latest nocturnal adventure. Nvidia has released the system requirements, and they’re a bit steep, though hardly unobtainable.

A GTX 660 as the minimum GPU and a recommended 3GB VRAM is perhaps going to be a bit of an obstacle, especially the VRAM. 2GB remains the standard, so that really should be what the recommended requirements should be aiming for, but that’s increasingly not the case in multiplatform titles.
Since Arkham Knight is a Gameworks title and the requirement list comes direct from Nvidia, it doesn’t contain recommendations for AMD cards, either. And if other games like Assassin’s Creed Unity are anything to go by, AMD users might experience more troubles at launch than their Nvidia counterparts.
All that said, take the list with a pinch of salt! It’s rare that these things paint an accurate picture of what you’ll need to run a game.
Batman: Arkham Knight is due out on June 23rd.
