Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 trailer uncloaks a November 6th release date

Black Ops III Trailer

We had the intel already, but Activision and Treyarch have confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a thing, and it’s coming out in the traditional holiday month of November. Adopting a more “dark and gritty” story centered around the ever-increasing use of technology, Treyarch have introduced a campaign that’s tailored for up to four players, and much needed replayability.

And of course, there’s always more zombies if that’s more your thing.

The campaign has been totally redesigned. Now, you and three other comrades can tackle the nefarious forces within Black Op III’s story. Also, every player can completely customise their loadout, appearance and abilities too.

In the multiplayer department, there’s a further focus on “momentum-based chained-movement system”. On the tin, it will supposedly allow players to more fluidly and seamlessly move through the environment using controlled thrust-jumps, slides and wall runs. Sounds a bit like Titanfall to me.

If it’s one thing that’s always asked for, it’s more zombies. Treyarch aren’t planning on denying their fans that anytime soon, so you can expect to see another zombie mode within Black Ops III. There’s not much in the way of details though, apart from a “distinct storyline” and a “full-xp progression system”; Treyarch promise it’s the “most immersive and ambitious Call of Duty zombies to date”, so that’s nice.
