Best Warzone Sidewinder loadout

Our best Warzone Sidewinder loadout takes the battle rifle and pushes it into the meta, with reliable damage and surprisingly fast TTK.

What is the best Warzone Sidewinder loadout? Battle rifles have been a lot of players’ bread and butter since Urzikstan dropped; with decent range and high damage output, this class of weapon is ideal for the open spaces of the BR game. The Sidewinder has been lacking in the meta since its introduction, but with our loadout, you’ll be dispatching your opponents with no trouble.

The new Warzone season is still a little ways off, but thankfully we’ve had a mid-season update drop to keep us entertained for the time being. The update has brought several changes, including some buffs to the Sidewinder, bringing it firmly into the battle royale meta, especially when you utilize our Warzone loadout.

  • Barrel: IES-R Integrated Suppressor
  • Optic: Jak Glassless Optic
  • Stock: Warforged Precision Stock
  • Magazine: 30 Round Drum
  • Underbarrel: FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip

The Sidewinder’s recoil can get a little unruly with sustained fire, so the attachments we’ve used have been with that in mind; reducing recoil, making it easier to hit successive shots. The IES-R Integrated Suppressor increases the gun’s recoil control, while also adding a suppressor, keeping you off the map while firing. The integrated suppressor frees up another attachment slot, which we’ve used for the FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip, an attachment that focuses on reducing horizontal recoil.

Utilizing the Jak Glassless Optic not only gives us a clean sight picture when aiming but being an aftermarket part, it also awards a slight control boost. The 30 Round Drum is almost a necessity with the Sidewinder; the default 20-round magazine isn’t quite enough for Warzone, especially if you’re playing trios or quads.

Sidewinder recoil pattern

Because we’ve utilized the FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip in our loadout, the recoil pattern of the Sidewinder skews mostly vertical, with a slight deviation to the left. Hitting anything within 30 meters shouldn’t be a problem, but be aware of the slight left-leaning spray pattern if you’re aiming for a long-range target.

There you have our best Warzone Sidewinder loadout; a reliable primary, capable of bursting multiple targets before they have a chance to react. We suggest taking a more mobile secondary with you in the multiplayer game, with something like our best Striker loadout performing that role perfectly.
