The first expansion for Civilization VI is out now. Rise and Fall adds plenty of new civilizations, as well as new gameplay features.

The collection of new civilizations is basically globe-spanning, and offer plenty of different ways to play. The Zulu are fearsome warriors who are able to quickly build armies, while the Scots benefit from investing in science and technology. Other civs include The Netherlands, Korea, and Mongolia.
New gameplay includes the arrival of Golden, Dark, and Heroic Ages, which you are based on your era score – forge ahead to enter a Golden Age, but fall behind and your troubles will be compounded with a Dark Age. Other features include city loyalty, emergencies such the threat of nuclear war, and governors.
