A veteran Ubisoft writer has joined 2K Games to work as a senior narrative writer for an unannounced game.

Check out our list of upcoming PC games to keep an eye on what’s ahead.

Corey May, known for his work at Ubisoft on the Assassin’s Creed series and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, left his job at independant developers Certain Affinity for the new role. The news comes from a Facebook post, via GameInformer.

Before working at Certain Affinity, he also worked in movies through Sekratagent Productions. While there, he worked on movies like Dogs of Babel, The Hunt, The Plague, and Sleeping Beauty.

It’ll be interesting to see if May ends up working on a new franchise, or if he ends up breathing new life into something established at 2K. He seems like he’d be a good fit for exhuming the remains of a certain underwater dytopia.
