Pretend I just made a joke about Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s black and gold art style in relation to the game going gold. I am a very funny and original person and nobody else in the world would think of making the same gag, okay? Anyway, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has gone gold, as in: it is now on a disc and you can augment your PC with it soon.

If you didn’t know, that black and gold colour palette of Human Revolution came from an advert the art director saw and was struck by. From here, he was thinking about the renaissance theme and pictured famous painters of the time making new art at night by candlelight – black and gold. Anyway, it looks cool, yeah? Shut up.
You know what else looks cool? Mankind Divided looks cool, and it’s not long before you can grab hold of it with your pathetic, meat skinned hand. Man, I wish I had a CD tray in my chest and blades for nipples.

Seriously though, this can’t come out soon enough. I need it in my face like an elbow chisel from Adam Jensen.
