Diablo 3 is facing a cowpocalypse

Diablo III cowpocalypse

“There is no cow level.” Blizzard’s been singing that tune since the very first Diablo, but we know better. Blizzard’s at it again, swearing that there is no bovine threat, and that nobody needs to look for cows to slaughter.

Lies.

Between today and May 21st, Blizzard has advised the denizens of Diablo III to steer clear of the wilds of Sanctuary. It’s all in the name of safety, apparently, just in case there is a cow menace on the loose. Which there isn’t, Blizzard says.

“Effective immediately, we encourage all residents of Sanctuary to steer clear of the wilds. From dawn on May 15 to dusk on May 21, it is also recommended that you avoid entering any strange portals that may or may not lead to alternate planes of existence. This activity cud be potentially hazardous to your health and, in the opinion of this humble civil servant, is a veally bad idea in general.”

The puns. The puns.

If your response to all this is “What the hell is a cow level?” then you should do some light reading.
