What’s Arkane been working on? Turns out it’s Dishonored 2 DLC. Death of the Outsider puts you in control of assassin Billie Lurk as she tries to rescue her missing mentor, Daud.
Still another day of E3 2017 left.
Not only will you be rescuing the Michael Madsen-voiced fan-favourite, you’ll be heading to kill the ultimate assassination target: the Outsider himself.
“Using all-new powers and abilities, Billie will infiltrate underground fight clubs and square off against the Sisters of the Oracular Order, the immortal Envisioned and the Outsider-obsessed Eyeless gang,” reads the official blurb.
“She’ll also face new Clockwork Soldiers – along with other new and returning foes – and retrieve ancient artifacts in a thrilling bank-heist mission, eventually facing the mysterious, god-like Outsider himself.”
Death of the Outsider is a standalone adventure that’s due for release on September 15. It’s billed as a perfect jumping-on point for new players, but veterans can also play Original Game+ mode once they own it,using a selection of signature abilities from Dishonored 2 in the expansion.
