The Defense Dota 2 tournament continues today with its ongoing group play, and today features a four games starting at 5 PM GMT / noon Eastern. The action leads off with Nex Impetus playing against Virtus.pro, and continues into the evening. You can watch the action on The Defense’s website.
The Defense is one of the more popular Dota 2 tournaments and probably sees more participation than any other outside of Asia or The International. Most of the major Western teams take part, and at the moment the Defense features 32 teams across four groups. The grand prize is $10,000.
After Nex Impetus and Virtus.pro finish their game today, Team Empire will take on 4 Friends + Chrillee at 6:15 PM GMT / 1:15 Eastern, followed by Nex Impetus again playing against group leader Mousesports at 8:45 PM GMT / 3:45 Eastern. Finally, action concludes with When in Mood playing against Absolute Legends Academy at 10 PM GMT / 5 Eastern.
