How does Dragon’s Dogma 2 crafting work? Vacuuming anything that isn’t attached to the floor is a staple in anything with an inventory system, and there’s so much wandering to be done in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that you’ll soon find yourself with a full pack and an overburdened stride. One way of lightening your load is to combine ingredients and craft something more useful for the journey ahead.
The Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date is finally here, and we’re already knee-deep in monster gore. Nat’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 review talks about how exhilarating the combat can be, and we couldn’t agree more. To face off against the most fearsome of foes, however, you’ll need to be prepared, so here’s how to craft in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and become a self-sufficient adventurer.
How to craft in Dragon’s Dogma 2
Crafting – or combining – is the act of smushing two ingredients together and getting something new, and hopefully more useful, out the other end. This can be as simple as creating curatives, fashioning something to sell, or, if you’re an archer, it can be the gateway to a vast supply of explosive arrows.
To combine ingredients, simply enter the inventory menu, then press Shift (or X if you’re using a controller) and go into the ‘Combine’ menu. You’ll be shown all of the ingredients you have on hand that can be combined with another, this is the ‘Experiment’ menu.
Once you click on an ingredient, it will then show you all of the crafting combinations available. Alternatively, you can use the ‘Recipes’ section of the combine menu to focus on the end product, rather than the individual ingredients.
Now that you know how crafting works in Dragon’s Dogma 2, there isn’t a foe in the land that will be able to step to you. To become even more powerful, check out our guide on Dragon’s Dogma 2 vocations, and even the Dragon’s Dogma 2 archer guide if slinging arrows is your thing.
