On March 31st, the hunters of Evolve will be getting some reinforcements. Four new hunters will be added to the roster, and one new monster for them to fight. The monster was a pre-order bonus, but everyone else will need to shell out for the DLC. The hunters can be bought individually, or as part of a bundle.
Turtle Rock Studios has the skinny on these new hunters, as well as some tips on how to use them.
They are a diverse bunch, this new lot. I mean, one of them is an insect man. They were all on the planet Shear, waiting for some action.
You’ve got Torvald, a new Assault, whose an intimidating half-human tank with back-mounted mortar cannons; Crow, a creepy looking Trapper with an alien bat scout; Slim, the aforementioned insect man, who is also a medic with a healing bug drone; and finally there’s Sunny, an ace pilot and Support hunter, who sports handy shield drones.
The new monster, the Behemoth is a beastie that’s more stone than flesh, and it can roll up into a giant death boulder, like a giant, killer armadillo.
If you don’t want to spend any cash, then you’re not going to be left out in the cold. Turtle Rock is also releasing two free maps for everyone. You’ll be able to play on them from April 30th.
