Fallout 76’s server size is 24 to 32, and they’re all marked on your map

Fallout 76 endgame

Fallout 76’s server population will be between 24 and 32, and they will all be marked – at all times – on your in-game map. This understandably made much of the team nervous, but Bethesda director Todd Howard apparently insisted.

“The game we’re very proud of right now, that’re about to ship, has 24 people on a server – 24 to 32,” project lead Jeff Gardiner says. “One of the things Todd pushed for the whole time – which we were all scared about a little – is you’re gonna open up the paper map and see this huge area, and you’re gonna see where all the other people are. For good or ill.”
