One of the announcements that came with the EA Originals was Fe, a 3D platformer about nature. That was last year, and things went a bit quiet as the developers at Zoink got their heads down to work on it. At EA’s showing at Gamescom, a segment was dedicated to the game, as it’s now got a release window of ‘early 2018’.
All of our Gamescom coverage – announcements, interviews, and more – can be found here.
It also came with a brand new trailer, which you can watch above. Playing as Fe, you’ll explore the Nordic forests just as one of the developers did as a kid, meeting both kind and dangerous creatures.
Fe looks utterly adorable, with a positive story about making “the world a home again,” and stopping “the darkness.”
In case you’re wondering: that background song is Dirty Paws by Of Monsters and Men. Other than this trailer, the only things we know come from the game’s reveal last year. If you want to watch for more updates, check out Fe’s website.
