The most important thing to note about Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is that despite the sweeping makeover with dynamic visual effects, a more active camera and loads of improvements and tweaks to the gameplay and sound design, it still looks just like Abe’s Oddysee.
It’s only through going back and playing the original ‘97 version that you’ll notice just how huge the changes are. It’s exactly what a modern tune up should be: something that looks like your memories of a classic game.
