Forza Motorsport 6: Apex leaves beta and adds steering wheel support

Fans of driving really expensive cars for absolutely free rejoice – Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, the free-to-play racer, has left beta and is available to play in its complete form now.

The latest update also adds steering wheel support for a variety of peripherals, all of which are handily listed below:

  • Thrustmaster T300RS
  • Thrustmaster T500 RS Gaming Wheel

  • Thrustmaster T150
  • Thrustmaster TX Xbox One Wheel
  • Thrustmaster TMX Xbox One Wheel
  • Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Racing Wheel

Developer Turn 10 Studios say support for Fanatec wheels such as the Fanatec CSR and ClubSport V2 Xbox One Hubmodels is being added in late September.

Logitech H-pattern shifters are all fully supported, except for the G29, which will be added later. Support fo H-pattern shifters from other manufacturers is also coming at a later date.

That should keep you going until Forza Horizon 3 lands at the end of the month.
