The point and click thriller Gods Will Be Watching is heading our way on July 24th according to a new trailer. The game was originally a Ludum Dare project, that turned to Indiegogo for funding to turn it into a fully fledged game. Not only was it backed but it was also matched by Devolver Digital, allowing the developers Deconstructeam to hit all their stretch goals, and then some.
We’ve got the new trailer below as well as a chance to play the original Ludum Dare game: it’s rather good.

You will play as Sgt. Burden as him and his crew tries to save the world from genocide, while along the way ensuring the survival of your team too. The game will shove you into the middle of difficult dilemmas, such as hostage situations and hostile planets, forcing you to make hard choices to ensure a (mostly) successful outcome.
“There’s no good or evil, just decisions, with only you and the gods as a judge to your actions” explains the official website.
If it’s perked your interest or maybe you’re sat of the fence, you can play the original concept that was the result of their Ludum Dare. It’s devilishly hard; I’ve only managed to get to day twelve before my crew went mad and ran away.
