When faced with April Fools' Day hoaxes from developers, the question is no longer a matter of whether or not something is real, but rather how long it will take before it becomes real. Last month, Bohemia Interactive teased Arma 3 Karts, a Jean Claude Van Damme parody that transformed Arma into a go-kart racer.
It’s now entirely real.
The Arma 3 Karts DLC, transformed into a real slice of content thanks to popular demand, will have players swap their military hardware for karts and helmets as they race around the Greek islands.
Pre-set challenges and checkpoint races will allow folk to jump straight into multiplayer races, but special modules have been thrown into the mix that let players construct their own karting tracks.
The DLC will only set you back £1.19/$1.99, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Czech Red Cross. You’ll be able to see how much has been raised for the worthy cause here, next month.
Arma 3 Karts is also included in the Arma 3 DLC Bundle, which will seem the Helicopters and Marksman DLC added to it when they launch as well.
