As if it wasn’t weird enough that the BBC were making a feature drama about the Houser brothers and the birth of 3D Grand Theft Auto. Now it seems Rockstar, after attempting to sue over the show, are straight up taking the piss out of it on Twitter.
It does seem strange that the BBC would make an unofficial drama called Game Changers, starring Daniel Radcliffe as Sam Houser, instead of, you know, a documentary or something. Clearly Rockstar think so, too.
As someone who works in games media, I know how difficult it can be to get anything out of the company behind Grand Theft Auto – they’re notoriously secretive and any media communication usually has to be authorised from up high. That’s why this tweet is so unbelievable. And amazing.

The fact that this tweet still exists makes me want to believe one of the Houser brothers wrote it while reclining in a Jacuzzi filled with champagne and huffing on a fat Cuban cigar, or whatever rich people do on a Tuesday night. They really are living up to their name with that tweet, though, eh? Basil Brush always was a dick, too.
