GTA Online launches new tank vs buggy adversary mode called Rhino Hunt

GTA Online's new adversary mode, Rhino Hunt, pits a team of sticky bomb-throwing dune buggy drivers against a team of armored-up Rhino tank commanders.

If you're looking for more unscripted mayhem, you can do much worse than playing the games in our picks of the best sandbox games on PC.

While tanks vs dune buggies might not seem fair, the sides are skewed and the buggies are in greater numbers, their more mobile vehicles making it difficult to keep track of them all.

Rhino Hunt is playable in three different locations (selectable via the Adversary Modes section of the GTA Online pause menus) or you can launch a playlist featuring the three maps by hitting the button when prompted on the GTAV launch screen.

Between now and March 3, you can earn double GTA$ and RP by playing the mode, and there are also a bunch of discounts across various in-game stores to make that extra cash go further. The full list of available discounts is below:

  • Warstock Cache & Carry – 25% off
  • Merryweather Services – 25% off
  • All Assault Rifle ammo – 50% off
  • Select Weapon Attachments – 50% off
  • All Tactical Gear from Heists – 50% off (includes Utility Vests, Rebreathers, Night Vision Goggles and Earpieces)

You can also earn double RP and GTA$ by playing GTAV's Valentine's-themed Till Death Do Us Part mode during the same period.
