The tournament will last two days, kicking off on August 25. The final match will be held the next day, August 26. If you’re travelling to Gamescom, you can watch it at the Gwent booth in the Entertainment Area, Hall 9, Stand B021.

Eight players will compete for the prize of $25,000. Seven of these players will be selected from the open signups, determined by their ranking on August 1, at 14:00 UTC.

The eighth player will be decided in a Wild Card Qualifiers event held on August 24 at the show booth. CD Projekt Red tease that this is the start of larger esports aspirations for the game. The studio will also be revealing future Gwent content during the show.
