Everyone likes free things, and free card packs in Hearthstone come under the umbrella of “free things,” which is nice. For the Hearthstone World Championship, there’s a free card pack being given out to anyone who logs in each day, starting today, with a Journey to Un’Goro card pack.
You can then use the cards from those packs to make yourself one of the decks from our list of the best Hearthstone decks!
HearthPwn managed to get the full details on this by datamining patch 10.0, where they worked out that the first day will give out a free Journey to Un’Goro pack, the second day will give out a free Knights of the Frozen Throne pack, and the third day will give out a free Kobolds & Catacombs pack.
There’s also a swish new main menu, with a few trail effect and special cloth underneath the Hearthstone box. The event is live in Asia according to HearthPwn, and we’ve been able to pick up our own first free pack, for the Journey to Un’Goro expansion, in Europe.
There’s also the Choose your Champion scheme for more free card packs, where you can get free card packs if your chosen champion in the Hearthstone World Championship wins games, but the selection window for that ended a couple of days ago.
