There’s a curiously blank Blizzard RSVP doing the rounds – an invitation with no names, dates or locations on it. Honestly, it’s the gold paper equivalent of being given a phone number with too many digits in it. We do know, however, that something Hearthstone is happening, and that it’s an “event”.

“You are cordially invited to a most majestic, marvelous, magical event, the likes of which have never been seen before!”, reads the invite, which GosuGamers got hold of.
“It is our most sincere hope that you’ll be able to join us!”
The gold-tinged invitations appeared at a Hearthstone Fireside Gathering over the weekend. Gatherings are ordinarily community-only events, but this one happened to be hosted in California by members of the Irvine dev team.
Blizzard had denied any intention of announcing new updates at the event – but clearly these invites allude to an upcoming event in the nebulous internet pub that hosts the game.
What are you expecting? A solo adventure? Another expansion?
