If you want some free stuff (and why wouldn’t you?) just head over to Battle.net and pick a winner. You have from now until 11:59 pm PDT on October 25 to get it done if you want to qualify for the opening rounds.
A second selection period runs from the end of opening week until 11:59 pm PDT on November 3, but obviously you’re missing out on the initial battles here, so you’re better off getting in early.
The 2016Hearthstone World Championships sees 16 pro players face off in the free-to-play card game, battling for a$250,000 grand prize.
Finalists have been divided into four groups of four players each, and each group will be reduced down to two during the BlizzCon opening week group stage. Those who survive will then move to the single-elimination bracket at BlizzCon.
Each best-of-seven round your champion wins will net you a card pack, so you could end up feeling quite card rich if you choose wisely.
