Solis will feature four biomes, including grasslands. Biomes are distinct regions, with new vegetation, landscapes, and gameplay opportunities. Interestingly, each biome will feature a range of sub-biomes. As confirmed by a deer sighting, animals are returning in Just Cause 4.
Just Cause 4 will take place in “the largest and most breathtaking world [Avalanche Studios’ have ever created.” The game takes place in the fictional South American country of Solis, which will be the biggest map in the Just Cause series so far.
Solis will have four biomes – alpine, desert, grassland, and rainforest, all of which will have their own geographical features (such as glaciers and watery plains), vegetation, landscapes, and gameplay opportunities. Animals will also feature on the map, with a deer showing up in a recent gameplay trailer.
Just Cause 4 is hardly a game for sneaking about, but for juxtaposition’s sake, why not check out a list of the best stealth games?
Each biome will also have its own extreme weather. Blizzards will blast the alpine region, while sandstorms will rock the deserts. On top of that, you’ll have to deal with powerful tornadoes carving their way across Solis. Those powerful storms can destroy planes, tear down bridges, and ruin forests. Happily though, Rico can ride the winds, which should at least make for some cool moments.

The Just Cause 4 release date is December 4, 2018, as Rico returns for a fourth instalment in the destructive franchise, this time to take on the dangerous Black Hand.
