Lego Jurassic Park World trailer travellers tales universal studios

Is the surface of your Monday morning coffee rippling rhythmically? It could be because Janice in accounting’s showing off her wicked sick basketball skills in the office again, or it could be because the first full trailer of LEGO Jurassic World has arrived.

It’s full of slapstick jokes, giant lizards, and the effervescent Jeff Goldblum.

It’s good to see Travellers’ Tales are continuing their irreverent brand of movie adaptations and that the cow fed to the velociraptors in Jurassic Park finally has the upper hand:

The designers aren’t ignoring the strain of horror from the films but they are camping it up a bit – chase scenes end with dinosaurs running headlong into fallen branches (not with LEGO people chewed into their constituent parts).

Perhaps the greatest reveal from the trailer is the spot on Jeff Goldblum impersonation. He was, of course, the heart of the first film:

We don’t have a firm release date on LEGO Jurassic World, only that it’s coming this summer.
