The second episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm will release on October 19. The episode, which is called Brave New World, is shown off in a brand new trailer, which you can watch above.

For the most part, Brave New World looks like it’ll pick up where the first episode, Awake, left off, building on the relationship between Chloe and Rachel. It also helps fill in some blanks, and it’ll potentially explain why the bonds between Chloe and characters like Frank and David were so fraught in Life is Strange.
But as well as building on what we already know, Before the Storm’s second episode is introducing some new characters – the arrogant football player who Chloe can argue with in the first episode returns, and he looks like he’ll have a bigger role this time around. The trailer ends with a shot of a very angry, very tattooed man, and it looks as though Chloe’s upset him quite a bit. There’s also a spot of a suspicious-looking lady getting out of Frank’s RV, and she offers Chloe some impressive side-eye in the brief moment she’s on screen.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm is available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The first episode is out now, and it’s a masterclass on how to make a prequel.
