You may of been excited to learn last night that Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, had a release date, and that it was the same as the consoles. I’m about to ruin that unfortunately. I’m sorry. A further clarification from Konami actually puts the PC launch of Phantom Pain to two weeks later than that of the consoles, September 15th to be precise.
Being that the initial release date was a leak, it was no surprise to learn that the date wasn’t accurate for the PC version of Phantom Pain. The game is available on Steam for a mighty £59.99, and includes all the digital goodies that come with the “day one” edition.
