It would seem that all is not entirely well at Konami. A screenshot from Metal Gear Survive shows a hidden message from developers espousing their support for ousted series creator Hideo Kojima.
Metal Gear Survive doesn’t live up to the series’ legacy.
The screenshot, which was shared to Reddit, contains a list of operative codenames. All these names are those of various animals, including ‘Black Jackal’ and ‘Bloody Raven’ among others. But one eagle-eyed player noticed that those codenames hid a code of their own.
As you can see, the names of the animals in those codenames spell out the phrase ‘KJP Forever’. KJP refers to Kojima Productions, the team founded by Hideo Kojima in 2005. At the bottom of the list, two further codenames, Bastard Yota’ and ‘Cunning Yuji’. Those refer to game designer Yota Tsutsumizaki, and producer Yuji Korekado, but are perhaps less well hidden than the other messages of insubordination.
