Ni no Kuni II is coming to PC: restore Evan to the throne of Ding Dong Dell in 2017

Ni no Kuni II

In a brightly-coloured dose of family-friendly good news, the sequel to the PlayStation 3’s charming action-JRPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is coming to PC.

If you can’t wait for more epic stories, check out some of the best RPGs on PC.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will cast the player as Evan, the deposed boy-king of Ding Dong Dell. If you played certain previous Ni no Kuni games on other consoles, you might remember this place: it was one of the first towns you visited in Wrath of the White Witch, where cats, mice and humans used to live in harmony. After a coup by those dastardly mice, the cats and their King Evan were banished.

In Ni no Kuni II, it’s up to you to Set Things Right, by uniting the kingdom, reclaiming your throne, and defeating the forces of evil.

Evan will be joined by his faithful friends Tani and Roland (who happens to be visiting from another world), and will be aided in his journey by creatures called Higgledies. Higgledies come from the power of the heart, which is found within people, animals and elements (e.g. fire and water), and are only visible to those with pure hearts. Higgledies will support you in battle and help you reach otherwise inaccessible places.

In the misty kingdom of console-land, Ni no Kuni II will be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4, but publishers Bandai Namco confirm it will also grace the fair shores of the PC. Get ready to feel the feels some time in 2017.
