Blizzard have announced a special deal with the streaming site Twitch. The deal puts Twitch in the hotseat as Blizzard’s exclusive third-party streaming platform going forward for over 20 tournaments coming down the pipeline in 2018.

Want to see what we think the best FPS games on PC are? Of course you do.

Some of the tournaments include the Overwatch Premier Series, StarCraft II World Championship Series, Hearthstone Global Games, and more.

“We founded Twitch as a gaming platform heavily based on our community’s reaction to games like Blizzard’s StarCraft II,” Twitch COO Kevin Lin states when speaking to GI.biz. It makes sense to see the companies come together.

As a result of the partnership, Twitch Prime subscribers will receive perks in the form of an Overwatch Loot Box with one legendary item and three other various items, with additional giveaways to come. The next few will focus on Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone, part of the group of tournaments Twitch will be broadcasting. If you’re looking for a big bundle of goodies, this is something you’ll definitely want to pay attention to.
