‘Tis the season to be jolly, and so Overwatch, on top of their Winter Wonderland event, are giving out some free presents. From now until January 1, you can get five free Winter loot boxes in Overwatch just for logging in, as a thank you from the team and a gift for the holiday season.
We’ve done a little investigation into Overwatch loot boxes, so here’s a guide to everything we know about Overwatch’s system of cosmetics.
Five loot boxes typically cost $4.99/£3.99, so that’s perfect for a Secret Santa level of gift from Overwatch. They’re the Winter Loot Boxes, and so contain items from the Winter Wonderland event, which also ends on January 1.
I’ve opened mine, and managed to get a whopping zero legendaries (although, I did get three epics). Maybe you’ll be luckier than me, at least?
