We all know Overwatch porn is already very popular, but now it’s official: pornographic site Pornhub has published its list of the top gaming-related searches of 2019, and Blizzard’s team shooter comes out on top.
Below Overwatch, Fortnite finishes in second place, with searches down 17% year-on-year. Pokemon (No.3), Minecraft (No.4), and Apex Legends (No.5) round out the top five. You can read the full list at the bottom of this article.
Fortnite searches increased by up to 152% during the game’s server outage in October, Pornhub says, while searches containing the term “black hole” increased by 9640%. Borderlands and Apex Legends experienced big surges in search volume around the times of Apex and Borderlands 3’s release. Apex, in particular, had over double the searches of Fortnite on February 18, but it quickly dropped below Fortnite on Pornhub thereafter.
The site has also published its list of the most searched-for video game characters – of which Zelda finished top. Lara Croft and Overwatch’s D.Va also feature high up the list, with a surprise entry at No.4 for Mario.
