PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds patch makes vehicles wet and puts an end to clones

Pubg-update-patch-notes

The PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds test server patch has made both maps, the old Erangel and new Miramar, playable, as well as adding some of the items that came with the new map to the old, such as the Ghillie suit and Aquarail.

If you’re just getting into it, here’s our PUBG tips guide.

Other changes in the 1.0 test build patch include, lightening the buildings in Erangel, after players complained it was too dark to see inside. Coupled with the bug fix that stops players moving silently when wearing certain kinds of shoes and moving diagonally, it should be harder to sneak up on players now.

And, something I’m sure we’ve all been calling out for, “Added a wet effect to vehicles.”

Oh, and, my favourite patch note: “Fixed the issue of two instances of player characters existing after reconnecting” which should mean no more Prestige-like antics with players having to kill their own clones.
