Konami have discussed their plans for Pro Evo 2017’s next two updates, due at the end of October and November. Highlights include new, authentic stadium models, a 4K resolution mode, and Liverpool fans singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Konami outlined the plans inan official blog post, making clear that they will be but the first of many updates as they support the game throughout November and beyond.
Patch 1.02 will be applied at the end of October, and will add improved facial likenesses to “over 39” players who have excelled in the season so far. Specifically, Konami claim they will add “photo-realistic reproductions of the likes of Wissam Ben Yedder, Mario Lemina, Aymeric Laporte, Victor Wanyama and Denis Suarez”. Patch 1.02 will also update the advertising hoardings, add new boot styles, and let you choose your own studs, for those of you who prefer good old-fashioned metal over plastic blades.
In recognition of Sony’s PlayStation Pro, Konami will add a 4K resolution mode in the November 1.03 update, which presumably PC players with the necessary tech will be able to use (this will run at 60FPS). The November update also brings good news for Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund fans, as assets based on those teams will be added.
Among these are Liverpool’s Anfield stadium – apparently, this will be the first time the stadium’s new stand is represented in a game, which is neat – and Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park stadium. In another cool touch, you’ll be able to hear Liverpool’s fans sing their signature song, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, among other chants.
