Rainbow Six Siege is getting better servers and improved tech

rainbow six siege season 2 Operation health

A new behind-the-scenes video has released for Rainbow Six Siege, showing off the development process behind Operation Health, Ubisoft’s three-month plan to repair and improve the state of the game.

Want to rise through the ranks? Here’s our guide to the best Rainbow Six Siege operators.

Operation Health will be focused on three things: tech improvements, new deployment methods, and bug fixing. The first tech improvement will be one-step matchmaking, making it less of a trudge to get into the fight.

Elsewhere, there are big server improvements coming. While the game has dedicated servers already, some parts of it – such as voice chat – are peer-to-peer. This causes connectivity issues, so they want to make it all client-based.

More powerful servers will also be introduced, improving tick rate and hit registration. Check out the video above to hear the plans in more detail.
