Looks like Rainbow Six Siege is getting a Halloween event with a ghostly House

Halloween House is apparently on the way to Rainbow Six Siege

Looks like Halloween is coming to Rainbow Six Siege in a big way. A new playlist teasing a version of the House map redecorated for Halloween briefly appeared on the menu after the latest patch. Then it disappeared like a ghost – or like a Ubisoft engineer quickly realizing a new holiday feature had been revealed too early.

The playlist appears to be all House, all the time, in standard casual multiplayer. The difference is that House is now decked out with halloween decorations, with spooky jack-o’-lanterns spread around the premises. It’s tough to tell how much the map will be changed given that we’re looking at a single teaser here, but you can at least expect some redecoration.

This image – captured by chuck0620 on Reddit – also shows a handful of new skins. They just happen to be the exact same Halloween skins that were leaked last month, with spooky new looks for Jager, Vigil, Thermite, and Valkyrie. It’s not the first time we’ve gotten Halloween skins in Siege, though combined with a new special playlist it all suggests we’ll have a much more substantial holiday event this time around.

Halloween is just over a month away, so if such an event is happening we’re likely to hear about it soon. Aside from providing us with leaks, today’s Siege update also brought stricter team kill bans along with the usual set of bug fixes and minor balance tweaks – though none of those are especially spooky.
