Rocket League Tournaments beta kicks off next week

At the end of January, Psyonix posted their Rocket League roadmap for the first few months of 2018. The road map included cross-play, events, and new fan rewards, but arguably the most intriguing point was the Rocket League Tournaments beta penciled in for February, with no specific date.

However, Psyonix have now announced the Rocket League Tournaments beta will kick off next week.

According to Psyonix’s official announcement, the Rocket League Tournaments beta will be available for download on Steam from February 21, ending February 23.

Rocket League Tournaments allows you to create organised competitive matches, also known as tournaments, as well as join competitions created by others.

The Rocket League Tournaments beta is available to anyone who owns a copy of Rocket League on Steam. Here’s how you can access the beta:

  • Find Rocket League in your Steam library and rick-click it.
  • Select “Properties.”
  • Click the “Betas” tab in the pop-up window.
  • Choose “Tournaments Beta” from the drop-down list.
  • After closing the pop-up window, your Steam client will update Rocket League to the beta.

The Rocket League Tournaments beta will run from February 21 to February 23. The beta will start at 10:00 PST (18:00 GMT) on February 21 and end at 17:00 PST on February 23 (01:00 on February 22 GMT).
