2009 was a great year for game releases: Dragon Age: Origins, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Minecraft, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand…  and acclaimed Xbox Live Arcade platformer, Shadow Complex. Well good news gamers of 2009, because Epic Games’ slick and frenetic title looks set for a remastered PC release, having cropped up in the PEGI listings with an imminent release date.

A listing on the PEGI website states the game’s release date as the 2nd of December, 2015 and gives it a 16+ age rating in Europe. Whether that release date is accurate is yet to be seen, but seeing as this is the first we’re hearing of a PC remaster of the title, I’d guess we’re unlikely to see the release of Shadow Complex quite so soon.

Originally released on Xbox Live Arcade, Shadow Complex merged gameplay elements from classic titles like Metroid and Castlevania, creating one of 2009’s gaming gems in the process. With this suggesting that PC gamers will finally be able to get their hands on the slick actioner fairly soon, maybe December won’t be totally devoid of releases after all.
