What’s been going on in the StarCraft 2 universe between Heart of the Swarm and the upcoming Legacy of the Void expansion? It’s a mystery that will very soon be unravelled in a three part mission series that Blizzard will release for free, to everyone, even if you don’t own StarCraft 2.
Whispers of Oblivion has been put together to connect the two expansions, but you’ll be able to play it without owning either of them. You’ll get three special missions, catching you up and reintroducing the likes of Zeratul, and then you’ll know what’s up.
This mini-expansion will launch in July for those who pre-ordered Legacy of the Void, but it will eventually be made available to the masses, free of charge.
