To celebrate 30 years of Street Fighter, Capcom are releasing the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. The game will draw from 12 classic Street Fighter games, from the 1987 original all the way to Street Fighter III Third Strike.
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition features all 28 characters.
As well as full online functionality across four of the more recent titles, the anniversary collection comes with galleries documenting the history of the series, with an interactive timeline of the series including concept art, a music archive, and sprite viewers. Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will release in May 2018.
Elsewhere, Capcom have announced details for the third season of Street Fighter V. All six playable characters were revealed in the cinematic opening for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Four fan-favourites in the forms of Sakura, Blanka, Cody, and Sagat will return for the new season, but there will also be two brand-new characters. More information on Falke and G will be revealed soon.
